When my colleagues Graeme Hodge and Di Bowman negotiated the contract for the recently-published International Handbook on Regulating Nanotechnologies, they did something rather smart: They included a provision that allows authors to post PDFs of their respective chapters on their personal and institutional websites.
The upshot of this is that you can now download and read the opening and closing chapters of the book here, for free.
The downside of course is that, once hooked, you’ll want to read the remaining 24 chapters. Which means forking out for the book (conveniently available from Edward Elgar Publishing) – unless you can track down each of the remaining authors’ websites of course!
